History
OMDA is a professional association of medical directors, physicians and other allied health professionals practicing in the post-acute and long-term care continuum. OMDA is the Ohio state chapter of AMDA - The Society for Post-Acute & Long-Term Care Medicine.
Members include physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, pharmacists and administrators.
Mission:
- OMDA supports post-acute and long-term care providers through education, advocacy, and interprofessional collaboration across the continuum, with a goal to improve the quality of care delivered.
Vision:
- OMDA, as the leading resource for information, professional development, and collaboration, promotes and improves the quality of care for patients in the post-acute and long-term care continuum.
OMDA is a 501(c) 6 non-profit organization.
